prepared for them. The following three tours will leave you with
a deep and lasting impression of Taiwan. You will not only have
the opportunity to get to know the unique culture of Taiwan
better, but you will also be able to enjoy its scenery. If you

form and return it to the Conference Organizer so that a
reservation can be made. Your credit card authorization is also

【True Love Ferry Pier】
Kaohsiung Harbor plays an important role to Taiwan’s economic development. The harbor currently has a channel lane of 18 kilometers ,available for boats up to 100,000 tons. There are 97 docks ,with a total length of 20.570 meters. A cruise around Kaohsiung Harbor will let you see the modernization of the harbor and experience the beauty of the city.
【British Consulate at Takao】
From a hilltop perch, the former British Consulate building commands a panoramic view of Kaohsiung Harbor, Sizihwan and downtown. The baroque-style brick compound is now used as a historical museum, cafe and restaurant.

【Chiku
Yanshan】
Located at the west side of Chungliao Village in Chiku
Township, the Chiku Yanshan is the largest sun-dried field
for sea salts in Taiwan southwest coast. The Chiku Yanshan
is not only the most important sea salt field but also a
tourist scenic spot, the “Yentien Shaiyu” (the place where
jade is sun-dried), of the new Nanying Eight Sites.
【Taiwan
Salt Museum】
Taiwan Salt Museum is currently the only theme museum
dedicated to salt production in Taiwan. The shape and the
look of the salt piles are strategically designed so that
the two piles look like two white pyramids arising high from
the salt field.
【Ten Drum
Culture Village】
Ten Drum
Culture Village is located at the border of Tainan city and
county. It separates from the busy downtown by loneness
forest. There are 16 old warehouses built in Japanese
colonial rule. In 2005, Ten Drum takes over the place and
re-plans it. They use the limited capital combining Mr. Shi
Hsieh’s ideas with famous designer, Mr. Liu Guo Tsang’s
choreographed plan to proceed.

【Maubitou】
Typical coral reef coastal erosion terrain. This kind of
terrain resembles female's pleated skirt, therefore has name
of the fringing reef seacoast. Due to continued water
erosion, you will see unusual landscape, caverns, and
cliffs. It is a valuable area for studying and research.
【Guanshan】
Enjoy the sunset in Kenting! At the same time, enjoy the
traditional food and coffee.
【Chuhuo】
Chuhuo ("Emitting Fire"), situated in Kenting National Park
about 100 meters from the Hengchun East Gate, earns its name
from the natural gas that leaks from numerous fissures in
the mudstone ground here.
【Eluanbi】
Eluanbi is a
plateau at the southernmost end of the Central Range. Known
as the "East Asian Light, " it is a historic preservation
site. EluanbiPark spreads out over a coral and limestone
terrain rich in unusual formations, caves, and animal and
plant life.
